About the book |
![]() |
“Humor, suspense, and wonderful characters laid against an atmospheric setting of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.”
“Shoofly Pie to die is a true mystery-lover's mystery! Granny Hannah Miller is a wonderful character, direct, blunt, lively, intelligent and at ease in her culture. Having an “English” granddaughter helping her out is a good counterpoint to her Amish-ness. Hannah is believable and comes across as religious in a natural way and not at all pious. The plot is lively and moves along, holding one's interest from beginning to end. The author has clearly been reading cozies and knows the genre well. The book is enjoyable. The murder plot is believable and I certainly didn't know who'd done it!”
